Tottenham Hotspur have recalled Tanguy Ndombele to their squad for the UEFA Conference League.

The 24-year-old had been excluded of the team for the double against Pacos de Ferreira in the play-offs, but now finds himself improved in the group stage.

Ndombele has yet to play for Spurs since Nuno Espirito Santo took over, having missed the entire preseason campaign and not playing a single minute of competitive football.

Evening Standard claimed last week that patience inside Spurs was running out with Ndombele and that he needed to speak to Nuno and Fabio Paratici (Standard Evening).

Ndombele has reportedly asked to leave North Londoners for the second summer in a row earlier this year (Football.London) but still ended up at the club after the transfer window closed.

Ndombele now needs to roll up his sleeves and show some professionalism by putting his head back together and realizing that he will still be a Spurs player until at least January.

He can either sit on the sidelines with his £ 200,000 a week or look to make an impact in the first half of the campaign and put himself in the spotlight.
