On April 18, 2018, YDreams Global announced the delivery of a new smart city project, a technology training center for training commissioned by the second largest city in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

The project builds on a previous YDreams Global project, the Knowledge Vessel, a digital inclusion project that received the 2016 Smart Community Visionary of the Year, from the Intelligent Community Forum, a New York-based organization that studies community economic and social development in the 21st century and annually awards an international award to recognize projects that have positive impacts in local communities around the world.

The new project includes a new virtual reality solution to inspire and educate the next generation about the upcoming technology and its effects on training. The training center will serve the thousands of children, teenagers and young adults who live around the facility, improving their quality of life and opening new career doors. All of the communities that receive similar facilities are located in neighborhoods with low-income families and offer free training and advanced technologies.

This is the 10th technology installation delivered by YDreams Global, each generating recurring monthly revenue for the company.

Daniel Japiassu, CEO of YDreams Global, said: “We are proud to have been chosen by the city to create this technology center. YDreams Global continues to pave the way for the development of these smart city projects and, at the same time, to build our recurring revenues. »
