When is the Europa League play-off draw?

  • The draw will take place on December 13.
  • It will be produced at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.
  • 16 teams will be present – eight runners-up from the group stage and eight third-placed teams from the Champions League group stages.
  • The Europa League runners-up will be seeded with teams eliminated from the unseeded Champions League.

When is the Conference League play-off draw?

  • The draw will also take place on December 13.
  • It starts at 1pm – an hour AFTER the Europa League draw.
  • 16 teams will be in attendance – eight Europa League Conference group stage finalists and the eight third-placed teams from the Europa League group stages.
  • Teams entering the competition from the Europa League will not be seeded, with teams placed second in the Conference League being seeded.

When will the Europa League and Conference League play-offs be played?

  • The first legs will take place on February 17.
  • The return matches will be played the following week, on February 24.
  • The winners at this stage of the competition will advance to the Round of 16 of their respective competition.

Current state of play?

  • Rangers will finish their group in second place and therefore advance to the Europa League play-off round.
  • Celtic will advance to the Europa Conference League Round of 16 after finishing third.
